Jon Macdonald is the Founder and CEO of Encina Consulting. His career has been built at the sharp end of Risk Governance - not in advisory roles, but in the chair.
As Group CRO of two FTSE100 insurers, a global reinsurer, and a Group Board Director at Royal London (FTSE100-scale), he's led Risk Governance through the most demanding environments in financial services - from creating over £1 billion of regulatory capital, to being part of the team who grew Royal London from £50bn to £130bn AUM, to rebuilding regulatory trust in situations where it had broken down entirely.
As fractional CRO of two start-ups, he's built proportionate, grounded Risk Governance as a foundation for growth.
